Carroll White REMC Energy Assistance Program

Light switch, group of women, group of kids, thermostatCarroll White REMC works with local community action agencies each year during the heating season. The program is designed to help people maintain their electric service and heating fuel supply during the winter months.

The program benefits those households with low incomes who are in need of emergency funds to pay heating and electric bills. Eligible applicants must apply at their local Community Action agency.

To apply applicants must provide

  • Social Security numbers for all household members.
  • Proof of gross total household income for the previous 12 months.
  • Current household utility bill.
  • If renting, a copy of the lease.
