LEGAL NOTICE

Northern Indiana Public Service Company LLC (“NIPSCO”) and Carroll White Rural
Electric Membership Corporation (“CWREMC”) hereby give notice that on April 11,
2022, a Verified Joint Petition was filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission
pursuant to Ind. Code § 8-1-2.3-6 for approval of an agreed change in the boundaries of
their respective assigned service areas on U.S.G.S. Facet Map L-9 in White County,
Indiana. Consistent with good engineering practices, Joint Petitioners have agreed to
modify certain parts of their respective assigned service areas in order to promote
economical, efficient, and adequate electric service to the public. This notice is provided
to the public under Ind. Code § 8-1-2.3-6(a)(2). A copy of the Verified Petition and other
pleadings in this proceeding are on file with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission,

intervene in this action may do so by contacting the Indiana Utility Regulatory
Commission.
If no interested party requests a hearing on the Joint Petition within twenty (20) days of
the date this Notice is first published, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission may
approve the requested boundary change without a hearing.
