LEGAL NOTICE
STATE OF INDIANA
INDIANA UTILITY REGULATORY COMMISSION

Carroll White Rural Electric Membership Corporation (“Carroll White”) and Northern
Indiana Public Service Company LLC (“NIPSCO”) hereby give notice that on November
15, 2024, a Joint Petition was filed with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission
(“Commission”) for approval of a Limited and Conditional Consent to Serve Agreement
(“Consent Agreement”) between Carroll White and NIPSCO for NIPSCO to provide retail
electric service on a limited and conditional basis to its electric generating site known as
Cavalry (“Solar Park”) located within Carroll White’s assigned service area in White
County, Indiana. The Joint Petition has been docketed before the Commission as Cause
No. 46163. The Consent Agreement is necessary to allow NIPSCO to act as the supplier
of station power for the Solar Park in the event the Solar Park is not able to self-supply
station power for its generation and generation-related equipment. The Consent Agreement
is submitted under Ind. Code § 8-1-2.3-4(a), as the Solar Park is located within Carroll
White’s assigned service territory, is limited in duration, and will not cause the duplication
of electric utility facilities. If no interested party requests a hearing on the Joint Petition
within ten (10) days of the date of this Notice, the Commission may approve the Consent
Agreement without a hearing.
